At the postgraduate level, the college offers four specialised MD programmes: MD Amraze Jildw Tazeeniyat, MD Amraze, Ain, Uzn, Anaf, Halaqwa Asnan MD Ilaj bit Tadabeer, MD Amraze Atfal. All of these MD programmes take three years of the student’s time to complete.

State Unani Medical College has its own system and the admitting process is through a national-level entrance test. The BUMS programme offer admittance through the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test NEET only. All aspiring postgraduate students who wish to pursue MD programmes must take the All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test known as the AIAPGET. These entrance examinations facilitate quality admission to the college, knowing that the students who have passed these tests have a minimum competence in basic science and potential for medical education.
