Suran College of Nursing was set up in the year of 2008 and is located in Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu. As one of the affiliated colleges for this programme, it is INC approved and is especially designed to offer exclusive nursing education to female students only. Located on land that occupies approximately eleven acres, the college provides the right environment for learning. When combined with its highly qualified faculty of 25 staff members, it provides for an outstanding student-to-teacher ratio of 184 to 1, an arrangement that lends students private one-on-one sessions in their quest of becoming qualified nurses.

At present, the Suran College of Nursing has only one programme on offer, the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc Nursing). This full-time programme is offered over four years, including the pre-university year, and has an approved capacity of 50 students per year of admission. The programme of study of the B.Sc Nursing entails coverage of theoretical concepts and skills to enable the students to practice as professional nurses in the health sector.
