48 MonthsThe Communication Design programme at School of Design aims to create design professionals for the communications industry, with a deep understanding of the processes and types of communication that influence current as well as future trends. Be it print, digital or technology, communication design professionals are most sought after for conceptualising and structuring strategy as well as their execution. The Communication Design programme at School of Design balances the traditional understanding of visual communication with emerging aspects of technology driven practices to enable the student to get a wide grasp of the requirements in the field. Workshops and courses conducted by experienced faculty form the core of the programme while engagement with industry through field visits, projects as well as through cross-disciplinary learning form the support for learning, giving the students ample opportunity to learn and practice.
Overall 50% marks at 10+2 level or 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by Central/State Government or Diploma after 10 years of schooling with 50% marks in aggregate.
