Sushila Devi Bansal College of Technology, established in 2005, is one of the growing educational institutes, situated in Indore (M.P.). Located over vast 44 acres of land, SDBCT is establishing itself as one of the premier institute in technical education of the area. The college is an affiliated institution, which operates under the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) of India, maintain a standard quality of technical education. SDBCT enrols 1,047 students and has 129 faculty members providing a wide course list that includes engineering and management majors challenging students to learn effectively.

Sushila Devi Bansal College of Technology, Indore is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal. Sushila Devi Bansal College of Technology has put in place impressive infrastructure aim at improving the education of students in college. Accompanying SDBCT’s academic offerings is the library that contains more or less 60,000 books, One Hundred national/international journals, several magazines, and Newspapers. A large part and encompassing in subject area of the library it also fullfils a purpose for the students and faculties being a repository of knowledge. The campus has modern day laboratories that give the students practical exposure to their line of speciality. SDBCT believes in providing education and courses in all prospects, however, its main speciality include engineering and management courses. The institute offers 10 courses at 3 level of degrees, including undergraduate degrees and postgraduate degrees such as MBA and BBA etc. All courses are full time which provides the institute’s concentration and dedication to academic programmes of study. The total approved intake capacity of college is 654 for the various courses offered by it and thus, it has different types of students with different type of aspirations or goals in their minds.

The admission policy of SDBCT is quite simple and merit based and it fully-equipped with national and state level criteria. For B.Tech programmes admissions are carried out by the Directorate of Technical Education, (DTE) Bhopal through using JEE (Main) ranks as per the rules framed by CBSE New Delhi. This makes the selection process to be fair and competitive, thus attracting competent students from all part of the country. For the postgraduate engineering programmes, M.E. admissions are through DTE, Bhopal. The applicants have to submit their GATE scores or apply separately as a non-GATE candidate based on the schedule laid down by the M.P. Professional Examination Board (MPPEB). Similarly, admissions procedure for MBA is conducted by the DTE and MET norms are set by the Professional Exam Board, Government of M.P., Bhopal.
