    Swami Vivekananda College of Education, Hooghly, established in the year 2015, is an affiliated college located in the district of Hooghly, West Bengal, India. The college has a compact campus spread over an area of 0.8201 acres with a strong commitment to developing potential teachers. This institution has been approved by NCTE and has been offering two specialised courses in education.     Swami Vivekananda College of Education provides two full-time courses, catering to different levels of teacher education. The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year course aimed at those who want to become teachers in secondary schools. The D.El.Ed, a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education, caters to primary education. Both these courses are oriented such that students are able to get all-round knowledge of the educational theories and practices under the learning environment, so that they can be prepared to face the challenge of modern-day teaching.
