Affiliated with Directorate of Technical Education and Training, Cuttack, Swami Vivekananda School of Engineering and Technology (SVSET) was set up in 2008 and is in Khurda, Odisha. SVSET which spreads over an area of 5.44 acres has grown into one of the leading institutions imparting technical education in the region. Being an affiliated college with AICTE, the institute provides the number of diploma programmes in the sphere of engineering. SVSET was established with 1273 in total student enrolment and faculty strength of seventy.

Swami Vivekananda School of Engineering and Technology provides a list of infrastructures that contributes to the improvement of education for learners. Sophisticated and well stocked library centre is another important facility where as laboratory anchored in each department provide facility for practical knowledge. The campus has a distinct hostel facility for boys and girls so that outstation students may stay comfortably. Swami Vivekananda School of Engineering and Technology has six diploma courses in engineering each of which takes three calendar years to complete and exit. These programmes include Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Mining Engineering. These courses have a total approved intake of 486 students, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering courses take the highest number of 162 students respectively. Thanks to a wide choice of courses offered here, a student can pick a field that would be most suitable in their opinion and in terms of their further career goals.
