Synergy Institute of Technology, Dewas (SIT Dewas), was founded in 2008. This college, affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi Technological University, is in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh and, over the last decade, has been moulding the futures of young engineers and managers. Affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, SIT Dewas has undergraduate and postgraduate departments in engineering, commerce, science, arts, computer science, information technology, and pharmacy. With the existing faculty staff of 73 members, the institute is centralised for the continuation of quality education and the development of innovation among students.

The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated with Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Rourkela, Odisha.  These include the SIT Dewas campus, which comprises infrastructure with all facilities necessary to enrich the students' learning environment. The institute also has a library, which contains many books and journals that are important to assist students and faculty. Thus, in order to compensate for the relatively young age and meet the requirements of the rapidly developing world, SIT Dewas has created very good IT facilities for students. They include: The college also has individual laboratories for all departments, which help a lot in practical exercises. For students from other towns, the institute has provided them with comfortable hostels for the boys and girls, thus they are never far from home.

The reason is that SIT Dewas currently has a wide range of six full-time programmes under two programmes, namely, Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Master of Business Administration (MBA). The BE programme spans four years and covers five specialisations: electronics and communication engineering, computer science and engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, and electrical and electronics engineering.
