Tarakeswar Vivekananda Pally Seva Kendra, Hooghly, West Bengal, is an independent nursing institute. This is a coeducational university that was formed in 2009 and has been preparing the future health care providers for more than ten years. Located in a small area of just five acres, the institute holds approval from the Indian Nursing Council (INC) for providing high-standard education in the nursing sector. Currently, the institute has a total intake capacity of 160 students and 8 dedicated faculties to provide a specialised education to those students who want to become nurses.

This SEK at present provides only one central course—the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course. This course is a full course and takes three years to complete, offering nursing and midwifery education fully. As it is, it has an approved intake of 30 seats for this programme, however, it shows its concern towards maintaining a fair student-faculty ratio for better focus. Though the institute offers solely this distinct course, this shows their commitment to providing quality as opposed to quantity of nursing courses.
