Gargaon College, Sivasagar, was established in the year 1959 and is a co-educational institution located in Assam, India. The college is a constituent college accredited by NAAC and imparts undergraduate courses. Its campus is spread over 25 acres, with a total student enrolment of 2,181 and gender distribution of 48% males and 52% females. The faculty strength of the college is 61, and it has 21 courses in 7 degree programs specialising in arts, commerce and sciences.

Gargaon College occupies a unique niche among the institutions of the town with its various honours courses in the curriculum, and deserves appreciation for its efforts in pursuing quality education in the region.
