    The Kavery College of Engineering Salem was established in the year 2009; this college is affiliated college situated in Mecheri Tamil Nadu. An accredited university with the All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE, this institution offers various types of engineering courses in this 40-acre campus. Total student intake of SSN College of Engineering is 480 and the total number of faculty members are 182 with good technical atmosphere. The institute has 9 programmes in 2 degree levels and covers Computer Science, Mechatronics, Chemicals, Agriculture Engineering, etc.

    The college has a variety of up-to-date facilities that are effective in the development of student’s academic and personal lives. The accommodation of students comprises of different hostels for boys as well as girls to help keep off attraction and sexuality. The boys’ hostel close to our campus has bright, cheerful rooms, continuous power backup, indoor sports facility, etc. The girls’ hostel in the campus is also provided with Wi-Fi connectivity with modern-day comforts in place. The college library is resourceful and stocked with books, magazinesand journals and large electronic databases and most of them are computerised and controlled by user-friendly software systems. For this, the school has a state-of-the art multi-gym equipped to help students aim for physical fitness.

    The Kavery College of Engineering provides a total of 9 courses, which are undergraduate courses (BE and postgraduate courses ME. These full-time courses are offered on several different specialisations in engineering and are designed to meet as many students and the industry needs as possible. The college currently offers main areas of study combined with new specialisation areas like Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, and Agricultural Engineering, among others.

    The admission procedure in The Kavery College of Engineering differs from one programme to another. Admissions to undergraduate classes (BE/B.Tech.) are however the competition index derived from the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination, which can be either academic, vocational, or diploma.
