The Theophilus College of Nursing, Kottayam, was started in 1964 to provide quality nursing education at the cheapest cost in Kerala, India. Affiliated to the General Council of Uttar Pradesh, this college is based in Kangazha, and approval of this college is through Indian Nursing Council (INC), whereby the college offers quality nursing. The college occupies a small area of 7.5 acres and has an intimate atmosphere for the totalling 109 enrolled learners. The college is committed to providing quality education with highly competent faculty of 20 members, including teaching staff The strong student-faculty ratio of 5:1 ensures close supervision of students by their teachers.

It is proud to point out that this college offers something that can improve the learning process of its students. The college has a state-of-the art library with more than 2870 books and it has also subscribed 25 national and international journal for the students. There are available of hostels for boys and girls; the boys’ hostel have capacity of 25 beds, while the girls’ hostel have ability to accommodate 200 students. Taken together, this college also has its own health centre complete with first aid necessities to cater for the students’ health. Theophilus College of Nursing aims at offering quality nursing education in its core course, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing).
