Tomo Riba Institute Health and Medical Sciences Naharlagun was established in 2018. It is named after Tomo Riba, the second chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh. The National Medical Commission (NMC) recognises the college.

College Infrastructure
Our college is the first medical college in the State, may be therefore the Arunachal Government fulfills all the needs and requirements of the college, we have very good infrastructure, the faculties are wonderful and the most important thing for a medical college is, that we have patients from all the corner of the state as it is also the only tertiary centre in the State.

All necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment are available. Hostels are one of the best in India, it's in its developing stage better to come in the future. Classrooms are quiet good and we've got our own stadium which was before the top stadium of Arunachal Pradesh
