    Tulsi College of Education for Women, Ambala, is an affiliated institution established in the year 2006 at Vill-Ropamajra, Hissar Road, Dhorkara, Ambala, sprawling over 4 acres of the campus. The institution has been sanctioned to maintain standard and quality in education by the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi (NCTE). It has two specialized courses in education, with a total student enrolment of 531, with a faculty of 29 highly dedicated professionals.

    The college boasts of several facilities aimed at making the process of learning as well as the general development of students at large. A well-stocked library acts as a knowledge center that would provide the required materials for successful academics. The campus is also supplied with well-equipped laboratories for hands-on learning in subjects that would be taught by students who wish to become teachers. The college has sports facilities that aid to improve the physical fitness along with inculcating the team spirit for all-around personality development of the students .

    Tulsi College of Education for Women Undergraduate offer the following two courses is available as Full time courses : B.Ed and D. El. Ed, approved intake capacity of 200 students, prepares students for teaching at secondary and senior secondary levels. It has a number of playgrounds and fields for playing tennis, cricket, football, and athletics. This helps improve students' physical fitness along with the need to cultivate the team spirit for all-round development of personality of the students. Contrasted with this, the D.El.Ed. course is a two-year period with an intake of 50 seats, which specializes the students in the very noble profession of elementary education. The curriculum for both the courses has the objective of equipping the students with thorough theoretical knowledge regarding the whole subject as well as practical teaching skills as based on the latest educational methodology and practices.

    The admission procedures to Tulsi College of Education for Women shall strictly be merit-based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and, in some cases, entrance examinations. Admission to B.Ed. programme shall be strictly as per the policy laid down by the State Government, U.T. Administration and concerned university. Admission/selection shall be made through entrance examination or such method/criteria as are deemed appropriate by competent authority. The same shall apply to D.El.Ed. where admission is strictly merit-based, taking into consideration the marks in the Qualifying Examination and/or an entrance test, as the policy of the State Govt./UT Administration might consider.
