UCA College of Paramedical Sciences was started in 1998 and is an affiliated college based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu which was set up to nurture the leaders of the healthcare sector more than two decades ago. UCA College occupies a small area of about 0.11 acres of land that makes its campus strategic and relatively compact for its 231 registered learners. The college has an ideal student-faculty ratio with 13 faculty members and offers personalised quality education for its paramedical programmes.

UCA College of Paramedical Sciences has established various amenities intended to support education for its students. For the female students, a good maintained girls hostel affords accommodation to the female students and improves togetherness while the male students are accorded single-sex accommodation. UCA College of Paramedical Sciences offers only one full time course known as the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT). This programme is offered over four years and is meant to offer students with the knowledge and skills required for physiotherapy practice. The college’s student turnover at the time of writing this report stood at 231 illustrating the college’s pragmatic approach of the number of students per class.
