Ujjain Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Ujjain (UIPS) is pioneer educational institution was established in the year 2006 which focus its academic only in pharma industries. This pharmacy college is affiliated and is located in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh which is approved by PCI that improve the standard of pharmacy education. The institute is situated in an area of 0.98842 acres and provides the environment for specialisations in pharmacist. St present, the institute is home to 226 students and has employed a teaching staff of 16 talented professionals which gives the institute an optimal students and faculty ratio.

Ujjain Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences have resources to make sure  that learners benefit from a complete learning environment with facilities that support their training. The institute has a library for the students’ and faculty which works as a knowledge centre. To support practical activities, UIPS provides high-quality laboratories, including three Pharmaceutics laboratories with special apparatus like Tablet Disintegration apparatus, Dissolution apparatus and Friability test equipment are available in these labs so that students can easily practice formulation and evaluation of different dosage forms, etc. This college also has a well developed Microbiology lab with aseptic chamber including laminar air flow benches & Bacteriological Incubators.

At the moment, the institute is only equipped with one course and that is Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma). This is a full time academic programme with a four-year duration and an approved annual student capacity of 100 students as a way of admitting quality in pharmaceutical sciences. The B.Pharma course offered at UIPS aims at developing the human resource needed in the fast-growing pharmaceutical industry while enriching the pharmaceutical sciences.

B.Pharma at UIPS has the online counselling system by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh for admissions. This means that admission is made central to avoid bias when extending this important opportunity to all deserving candidates. Applicants are therefore advised to monitor the DTE websites for information on dates and time when releasing and accepting counseling applications, document checking and seat allocation.
