    Universal College of Education, Mohali has come into existence in the year 2015, that is an affiliated college situated at Village Ballopur, Ambala-Chandigarh Highway, Lalru, Mohali District of Punjab state. The institute is recognised by the National Council For Teacher Education [NCTE] and has three professional education courses. The college has intake capacity of total students as 221 and faculty strength of 6 that helps to focus the students, who want to become an educator. The campus is set in a quieter area, and the college provides fully residential courses in B.Ed, D.El.Ed and the newly introduced integrated course of BA B.Ed for areas of teacher training and education.

    Universal College of Education also has a number of learning amenities that add value to the ways through which learning in the college is delivered. The library with a seating capacity of one hundred has regional and international books and relevant journals dealing with modern educational issues and research work, enlightening the students. An efficient functioning of the ICT Resource Centre is maintained with the support of modern computers, internet facilities, scanners, printers, and copiers thus, the student gains adequate technological skills. In practising what they teach, the college has several laboratory facilities such as Educational Technology Lab, Science Resource Centre, Psychology Resource Centre and Language Resource Centre. These ones offer practical practice and also aid he theoretical part of the curriculum.

The B.Ed programme has an intake capacity of one hundred students, D.El.Ed and BA B.Ed having an intake capacity of fifty students each.
