Universal College of Engineering and technology (UCET), Vallioor-629 143 was established in 2011, it is an affiliated college. Located on a campus of 100 acres of area, UCET has a multiple engineering and management courses. It is AICTE approved technical institution total enroll of students is 669 and faculty strength 71. UCET offers a total of 9 courses at three levels of degrees covering engineering fields and management disciplines. Technical education is well taken by the college through the qualified teachers and well equipped facilities in the college.
Consequently, a variety of facilities are available in Universal College of Engineering and technology so that students are able to get the best out of their learning and growth process. The college owns a separate and spacious library covering an area of 5000 sq. ft with a strength of book collection of 25000 prescribed books and the college subscribes e-journals through delnet. The research-oriented digital library with the Internet e-learning terminales, 25 in total, promotes research and project activities. Universal College of Engineering and technology providing health fitness it has a full service health and Physical fitness the University has a health centre and fitness room. Outdoor facilities in the school include asphalt-topped elementary playgrounds for cricket, football, tennis, basketball, volleyball, and athletics track. The college also has well equipped laboratories, a very large Cafeteria and a transport chains for students and members of staff. Internet facilities:-byte for internet; Wi-Fi facility available all over the campus; an internet leased line of 8 Mbps; students get bus updates.
The UCET academic programmes therefore covers all types of interests in the sphere of engineering and management. All courses are day courses through which students equip themselves with professional knowledge and skills in their areas of specialisation .
