University College of Engineering, Arni (UCEA) is one of the biggest brands created in the year 2009 situated in Thiruvannamalai District of Tamil Nadu. This constituent college of Anna University Indeed is located on a broad 36 acres plot to create conducive environment for learning and innovations. UCEA has labored hard to be accredited as the best engineering university and offers its programmes with a nod from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). This college has made a tremendous improvement in admitting students to have a total of 789 students in their college.
University College of Engineering boasts of a variety of excellent facilities to complement the learning process of a student. The college provides separate modern laboratories for each engineering discipline in order to give practical knowledge for the students. The facility of library is an elaborate information store house containing 4,000 plus reference books and over 100 CD ROMs for both teaching - faculty as well as students’ research activities. For the needy ones in the aspect of dormitory or hostel, there is the hostel for boys and Connexions for the girls – in essence UCEA offers a home. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled and students can easily access any required internet connection from the comfort of their studying environment. To enhance on the health they have provided appropriate place for sporting activities for students in the college to ensure they balance on their books and health. Besides, it offers some services for students’ comfort including canteen services, medical services, and transport services of the college.
UCEA has expanded a full range of engineering programmes by five full-time BE courses of study. These programmes are offered across the several fields of specialisation such as Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering , Electronics and communication functional, Mechanical functional and even Mechanical functional in Tamil. A total annual student admission for these courses is comprised of 330 seats which provides the college’s dedication to offering a good education to a large number of engineers every year.
