Khandeshwar Shiksha Mahavidyalaya situated in Bhind of Madhya Pradesh is one of the institutions formed for a teacher education institution. This is a tutorial college that commenced in 2014 and it was earlier a single sex, Christian college that was preparing future educations since 2014. It is affiliated to the university as an affiliated college and has got the recognition of National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) for compliance to National Norms for Teacher Education.

In this paper, the researcher aim at identifying the learning facilities available in the campus of Van Khandeshwar Shiksha Mahavidyalaya. The college offers the library in which students have an opportunity to study a great amount of literature. For practical work,the institute has departmental laboratory facilities. In light with this trend, the college has developed good IT facilities to match the modern society. Students can also attend the sports facilities in order to achieve a balance between work and play, or to supplement their academic responsibilities. There is a health centre with first aid amenities for handling of any medical emergencies. It also has hall for conference/ seminars, gym hall for those interested in exercises and foods and drinking facilities. As for its staff there is a guest house and a waiting room for a comfortable stay of invited teachers and guests of students such as their relatives.

There is only one course offered by the Van Khandeshwar Shiksha Mahavidyalaya which is medium to fulfil its objectives i.e. Education Its offers two full time courses. The B.Ed programme takes two years focusing 50 students while the B.Sc B.Ed integrated programme which takes four years has a capacity of taking one hundred students. These programmes are intended for giving the degree holders the proper background to become successful teachers having the knowledge as well as practical experience in their field. This has ensured that the total number of students admitted in both programmes is 150 to allow the institute to keep small classes for the convenience of learning. The college is managed by 8 faculty members which makes it possible to attend to all the needs of the students and give them directions to the right path throughout their college.

Owning to its status as an unaided institution, Van Khandeshwar Shiksha Mahavidyalaya only admits students on the basis of the marks scored at the senior secondary level. Sometimes, depending on certain laid down procedures by the state government of Madhya Pradesh or the participating university, entrance examinations or other selection may be taken. This approach makes it possible that special cases deserving to pursue their dreams of becoming teachers are given a better channel to exercise that. 

As a teacher education college with emphasis on the modern teaching tools and tools, the Van Khandeshwar Shiksha Mahavidyalaya college of education provides a worthy portfolio for its candidates pursuing a career in this noble profession. This institute may be relatively young, but it has all the endorsement it needs from NCTE and very rich programmes to equip aspiring teachers. Furthermore, the hope of the college to contribute to the future development of education in Bhind and to the entire college’s success is ever increasing as the college expands and develops.
