Vedant Sikshan Prasikshan Mahavidyalaya is a new college in Bikaner, Rajasthan state, which was started in 2017. Located at Ki Puli Road, Chhattargarh District, this institution is a co-educational one founded over a compact structure of 2 acres of land. At the college at present, there is only one degree programme, B.Ed., with a total enrolment capacity of 229. The strength of faculty in the institute is 5; moreover, the institute has the right focus on teacher education.

Vedant Sikshan Prasikshan Mahavidyalaya is affiliated with Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner. Vedant Sikshan Prasikshan Mahavidyalaya has various amenities to enable effective provision of education throughout the institution. It acts as a substantial support and the hub of the institution as a source of information in fields of advanced technology and management, using books, periodicals, and any other form of media. It systematically supports the work of learning, which meets the needs of training, research, and educational and scientific projects. For the students with disabilities who need special attention, the college provides both boys’ and girls’ hostels. It has 60 computers in the Core 2 Duo, connected through a high-speed switch on a local area network basis. Internet access is available at a speed of 4 MBPS with a 1:1 ratio. It has different software like Linux, Windows, XP, Vista, C, C++, Visual Basic, Java, etc.; an Oracle 9i/10g developer; and all machines are loaded with different software for offering practical exposure to students on current software technologies. As one of the young institutions, the Vedant Sikshan Prasikshan Mahavidyalaya, Bikaner, aims to impart the best of teaching education to its learners. Though it has been providing education with only one programme, it has well-facilitated structures, and it admits students based on merit, hence providing education for the future, and facilitating teachers.

In any case, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is the sole programme provided by Vedant Sikshan Prasikshan Mahavidyalaya. This is a two-year full-time course with objectives that seek to produce competent teachers for our nation’s schools. It is equally important to note that although there is no fixed number for the number of seats for this programme, the college-level total student strength indicates a huge capacity. It is a fact that the main goal of the B.Ed. programme at Vedant Sikshan Prasikshan Mahavidyalaya is to produce competent professionals as educators in different fields of education.
