Velankanni Institute of Management Studies is one of the affiliated colleges situated in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh State of India the college was set up in the year of 2002. It is located at 5 acre campus and it is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Majoring in management education, MBA is taught for the students in Master of Business Administration. The total enrolment of students is one hundred and the faculty consists of twelve members which makes the proportion of students to the faculty good. This fact is proven by AICTE approval that the institute has and its strive to equip its students with qualities of efficient managers in its learning environment. 

The Velankanni Institute of Management Studies thus has facilities to make the students’ learning and growth process easy. The campus has a very rich library where students are free to access different learning materials. In line with the learning approach, the institute has got departmental labs in which real life experiences can be implemented. The college also plays a major role in enhancing the physical instruction of the students with having sports facilities for every student. It is mainly a postgraduate management institute, which excludes a full time MBA programme as its flagship.
