The Vidyaa Vikas College of Education in Tiruchengode is one of the most famed teacher training institutions in Tamil Nadu. The major academic programs run by the college are B.Ed. and M.Ed. admissions in the Vidyaa Vikas College of Education are done for purposes as per the rules laid down by the Tamil Nadu Government and the concerned University.  For B.Ed. with the intake being 200 numbers, the admissions are made on merit in the qualifying examination or along with an entrance examination prescribed for this entry. For M.Ed. admission, entry is per the rules stated by the University and that of the Tamil Nadu Government allowing an intake for 50 numbers

Application Process

1. Admission Announcements: Admission announcements are usually made public by the college through its official website and local publications.

2. Application Form: Candidates are supposed to fill in an application form which may be obtained either from the admission office or downloaded from the college website.

Degree Wise Admission Procedure

B.Ed: Vidyaa Vikas College of Education provides for its B.Ed. program with the approved intake of a hundred students. Selection for this program is based mainly on merit from amongst candidates with marks in the qualifying examination and/or an entrance test following guidelines set out by the concerned state government and the affiliated university. The fee for the B.Ed. program is Rs. 75,000 in its entire course.

M.Ed: M.Ed program admission has an intake of 50 numbers based on the existing rules of the University and of the Government of Tamil Nadu. The merit of candidates mainly determines admission based on the qualifying examination or on rules in force for admission. The course fee for the M.Ed. is Rs. 76,000.
