Vidyasagar Metropolitan College is one of the prestigious institutions in Kolkata and was established in 1961. The co-educational institution is located at 39 Sankar Ghosh Lane, near Thanthania Kali Bari. The college admits students at undergraduate level in various streams. Among the most sought-after programmes of the college include B.Com Accounting and Finance (Hons) with 90 seats, B.Sc Mathematics Hons having 80 seats, and BA English Hons with 80 seats.
