Vignana Bharathi Engineering College or VBEC, is a private college established in 2004 and situated in Ibrahimpatnam, Telangana. Approved by AICTE and VBEC and having its link with the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. This college lies within a 5.22 acres area and take overall student admission of 622 with the help of 139 faculties. In total, there are 8 courses offered through VBEC over three degrees such as engineering and management degrees. The institute specialises in technical education and has full time programmes in Data Science, Internet of Things, and Cyber Security etc.

All courses are in full-time, and the overall approved enrolment capacity for all courses is 498 across all programmes. The degree course, B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering course has the highest student admission capacity of 120.

The entry of students in Vignana Bharathi Engineering College depends much on performance in the entrance tests. The college accepts scores from the Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) for admission into B.Tech programmes. Admission to MBA programme is through Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TS ICET).
