Vivekanand College of Education, Gurgaon, was established in the year 2008 at Johalaka, a remote village in Sohna Tehsil, Gurgaon district, Haryana. The institute's campus sprawls over 5 acres and is affiliated with one having an aim towards teacher education; it is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi. The faculty strength is 15 in number, and 9 students are enrolled presently.

The college has facilities like a library that stocks over 5,000 books, 12 Indian Educational Journals, and 10 encyclopedias to suffice all needs for study and research purposes.
