Vivekananda College of Computer Science is an educational institution situated in Mahabubnagar, Telangana, and aims at offering the best knowledge in computer science and management courses. This affiliated college was started in 2001 and it takes over two decades to hone the young talents. Located in Chattanpally Village Shadnagar, with a small area of 3.5 acres, the college provides a perfect environment for the development of the students. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education and at present, it has 73 students enroled with 14 dedicated faculties. 

Vivekananda College of Computer Science has a rich infrastructure that contains all the necessary equipment to enliven the learning process. However, knowledge is at the centre of any academic resource, and perhaps the most vital is the library. The institution also appreciates the need to meet the demands of the modern world, especially in the field of computer science, as seen by the quality IT facilities. However, as a host to guest faculty and friends of students, the college has taken its social responsibility of providing guest room facilities to guests seriously.

At present, Vivekananda College of Computer Science provides a full-time Masters of Business Administration (MBA) course. This two-year course is expected to have an intake of 120 students and a good number of them can be produced by an institution. The MBA programme aims to prepare students for achieving the necessary competencies in the modern environment in the field of business. Although this is the major postgraduate course offered in the college, it shows a provable concern in delivering quality education in management studies.

Vivekananda College of Computer Science has developed a simple and merit-based admission criteria to ensure all its students are qualified. Continuing students interested in the MBA course also need to write the Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test (TSICET) in order to be admitted to the programme. This graduate-level test is an entrance examination taken by students at the state level who wish to take management education in the state of Telangana. The influence of accepting TSICET scores is that the college is practicing and upholding the state educational system and standards, while the selection process is equally competent.
