Vivekananda Institute of Science and Information Technology (VISIT) was established in the year 2008 and is situated in Mahaboobnagar, district of Telangana state. Spread across a 10.2-acre area, this affiliated college is a combination of academic brilliance with modern infrastructure. At present, 53 total students are enrolled, and a faculty of 12 teachers makes up the student-teacher ratio to ensure massive individual focus of education at VISIT. At the moment, the institute only has one postgraduate programme to show the institute’s focus on offering specialised management studies.

Vivekananda Institute of Science and Information Technology (VISIT), located in Farooqnagar, Mahabubnagar, Telangana, is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH). The library at VISIT has over 11,000 books, 500 back volumes of periodicals, 60 printed technical journals and 120 online, including 20 foreign magazines. This large collection of numerous resources can be useful for students and staff members. That the institute has a policy on health and workouts is evident through the medical facility offered through the medical centre, though being rudimentary offers first aid and basic health services to the campus.

The academic product of the institute is the BA programme, which is a full-time, two-year programme. The programme offers the preparation that is necessary in the business management field.
