Vivekananda Mahavidyalaya, Sripally, was founded in the year 1964 and is an affiliated college based in Burdwan, West Bengal. Presently, the institute is accredited by NAAC and offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses to students. The college sprawls over 7.36 acres with a total student enrolment of 4,204.

The learning process of students is enriched at the college with several facilities. One such facility is a well-stocked central library started in 1966, which acts as the Knowledge Centre for the Academic Community. At present, the library is upgrading its software from SOUL to KOHA, a fact proving the modernization of the institute. Another core feature of the college is its laboratories for practical learning, which are subject-specific to a department. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and the students can access e-resources without any hassle. The institute offers 20 undergraduate courses and 2 postgraduate courses. At the undergraduate level, there are several BA and B.Sc programs. At the postgraduate level, it offers an M.Sc in Chemistry.
