Yashwant College of Nursing, Kolhapur, was set up in 2015 and is one of the leading nursing colleges present in Panhala, Maharashtra. This affiliated college is approved by the Indian Nursing Council, so more focus and high-standard education are provided in the nursing field. Located on 0.47 acres of land, the college provides a niche learning institution for would-be nurses. Although the total student intake at Yashwant College of Nursing is only 64 and the faculty ratio is 20:1, the college strives well to maintain the student-teacher ratio healthily, whereby students can be given special care and individual attention. 

Yashwant College of Nursing has the following facilities that enable the college to meet the intended learning needs of its students. Well-equipped library which acts as a knowledge centre, having a whole lot of texts as well as the latest numbers of national & International journals. Yashwant College of Nursing offers two nursing courses, a four-year B.Sc. Nursing course and a three-year General Nursing and Midwifery course. Both the courses are full-time and have approved the total intake capacity of both courses to be 20 and hence, there are 40 seats in total each year. It is with the view of offering a complete theoretical education and hands-on capability for an effective nursing profession that such programmes are offered.
