Krishnakaushala Yashavantrao Chavan Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Aurangabad, came into being 5 years back. Shiva Trust oversees the management of the college. Nipani-Bhalgaon, near Videocon Communication Ltd., on the Beed Bypass Road, Chh. Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad), Maharashtra is the location of the college.

While the college is tied up with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, it also recognized by the Government of India, the Department of AYUSH, and the Central Council of Indian Medicine, which has now changed to NCISM. Krishnakaushala Yashavantrao Chavan Ayurvedic Medical College Hospital, Aurangabad is affiliated with the college Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. 

BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery),  main undergraduate programme which is to be provided is called BAMS-this course is available for students of the college in its medical college. For post-graduate programmes MD in Yashwantrao Chavan Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Aurangabad can offer various specialisations. The ground program to Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) is available within the college. This program is of five and a half years duration, and it also includes a one-year internship. The annual intake of students for the BAMS program is 100.
