Yashwantrao Chavan Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Aurangabad, Maharashtra, was established in the year of 2015. This is an affiliated college recognised by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) and specifically focusing on Ayurvedic education and health care. Spread over 5 acres of land, YCMDC provides a 5.5-year programme of BAMS. The college offers a total of 400 students’ enrolment along with a faculty strength of 68, and it offers the right ambience for learning Ayurvedic medicine. YCM is the associate of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, which makes a commitment to satisfying the stringent academic standards. 

YCAMC provides a list of academic amenities that can meet students’ needs and help them develop. The fully furnished library provides knowledge, medical references, literature and research information to the students and staff. Modern herbal and phytochemical laboratories offer practical classes with regard to different aspects of the Ayurvedic system. The college also has an auditorium for academicians’ events and seminars, which ensures that there is intellectual debate. 

For the health of students, YCAMC has provided sporting amenities and a gym. The campus comprises different hostels for the boys and girls to provide accommodation facilities for extramural students. There is a cafeteria for students' and employees’ meals, and the school provides necessary facilities for advanced learning. That is why the availability of the on-campus health centre is an important medical resource for at least some medical needs for students. 

YCAMC offers a single full-time course, the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery. This is a five-and-a-half-year course where one is fully trained in Ayurvedic principles and practices. The college has been approved to admit 100 students for this programme due to its policy of making small classes to improve the quality delivery of programmes.

The most used entrance test during admission at YCMAC is the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, commonly referred to as NEET UG. Aspirants are required to apply for the counselling process and have to choose YCMAC Aurangabad College for admission. Admission to the institute can also be done through the scores obtained in the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MAH AAC CET).
