Step 1: Candidates first have to register online and complete the GIM Goa application form. The application requires personal, academic, and examination details, along with supporting documents and the application fee.
Step 2: GIM Goa conducts an Achiever's Round for candidates with notable academic, professional, sports, or co-curricular achievements. The initial shortlisting for this round is done without considering CAT/XAT/GMAT scores. Entrance-exam scores are incorporated later in the selection process.
Candidates selected for the Achiever's Round may receive a spot admission offer. Those who do not receive an offer can continue to be considered in the regular admission process.
Step 3: Candidates who are not selected through the Achiever's Round, along with other applicants, are considered for the Regular Round. GIM evaluates candidates based on their entrance-exam scores, academic record, work experience, and overall profile.
Step 4: Shortlisted candidates are also required to complete an online Written Aptitude Test (WAT). The WAT date is announced by GIM.
Step 5: Candidates shortlisted for the next stage are invited for the face-to-face evaluation, which forms 30% of the final selection criteria. This stage assesses the candidate beyond their entrance-exam score and academic record.
Step 6: GIM Goa will prepare the final selection based on the prescribed selection components, including entrance-exam performance, academics, work experience, face-to-face evaluation, and profile/diversity. Selected candidates receive the admission offer from the institute.
