72 MonthsDoctor Of Philosophy (Ph. D.) in Marine Engineering shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including coursework and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned, the course offered by the Academy of Maritime Education and Training, Kanathur.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates with PG qualification in the appropriate disciplines with a minimum of 55% of marks in the qualifying examinations are eligible.
- Candidates under the Full-time category shall do research work in AMET and shall be available during working hours for curricular, co-curricular, and related activities.
