Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Nautical Science is a full-time three-year undergraduate degree course offered by the Academy of Maritime Education and Training, Kanathur.

Eligibility Criteria

Pass in 12 th Standard examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as separate subjects with a PCM average of not less than 60%. (b) The candidate must have secured minimum 50% marks in English language in 10th or 12th standard exam (As per DGS Norms).

Relaxation of 5% in English marks will be applicable to candidates who are native of the Lakshadweep and Andaman & Nicobar Islands and belong to their Scheduled Tribes and who & both of whose parents were born in those islands & belong to the Scheduled Tribes of those islands. For SC/ST candidates: There will be a 5% relaxation in eligibility marks of PCM; however, it will not apply to English Marks.

Admission Details

Qualifying for admission to IMU CET is mandatory.

College Infrastructure

AMET is a very well maintained campus. It has modern labs with specialized equipment. The college has good library. It also has a dedicated sports facilities. The college also provide auditorium and canteen facilities.

The college has good infrastructure facilities. It has well maintained and well structured modern buildings. All the classrooms has smart boards. The college has innovation centres. It also has a Ship in the campus for giving students practical learning.
