Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Marine Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the Academy of Maritime Education and Training, Kanathur.

Eligibility Criteria

(a) Pass in 12th Standard examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as separate subjects with a PCM average of not less than 60%.

(b) The candidate must have secured a minimum 50% marks in the English language in the 10th or 12th standard exam (As per DGS Norms).

Relaxation of 5% in English marks will apply to candidates who are natives of the Lakshadweep and Andaman & Nicobar Islands and belong to their Scheduled Tribes and who & both of whose parents were born in those islands & belong to the Scheduled Tribes of those islands. For SC/ST candidates: There will be a 5% relaxation in the eligibility marks of PCM; however, it will not apply to English Marks.

Note: The candidate must have passed the 10th and 12th standards from a recognized board.

Admission Details

The Candidate Qualifying in IMU CET or IIT-JEE/any State-level Engineering Entrance Examination (minimum of 40 Percentile score).

classrooms are suitable for students. They are providing hygienic mess and food. WiFi facility is provided in campus and hostels. Library is available with all kinds and updated addition of books. Good faculty.
