In order to qualify AIIMS, General category candidates must secure a minimum of 50%. You cannot specifically tell cuttoff for AIIMS ,because it has percentile system.But if you have a rank of around below  500 for General then  you can easily get into AIIMS BHUBANESHWAR.

Dear aspirant, both the AIIMS are similar in the aspects of teaching and facilities. As the interaction with the patients start from the second year only so if you are a fluent hindi speaker then bhopal will be good as well otherwise you can face a problem in connectivity with patient's patients. Other aspects can be taken into account as well like the connectivity to your home. In both the institution fests are good as well.

• In order to qualify AIIMS MBBS 2019, General category candidates must secure a minimum of 50%, while candidate from SC/ST category have to obtain a minimum of 40%. Further, candidates belonging to OBC category have to score at least 45% in the examination to pass it.
• So you cannot specifically tell cuttoff for AIIMS ,because it has percentile system.
• But if you have a rank of around below  500 for General category, below 1000 for OBC ,below 3000 for sc/nt category and you can easily get into AIIMS BHUBANESHWAR.

First of all since you are asking about AIIMS so I assume that above said rank is of AIIMS UG entrance exam. At this rank at least there is surity that your son will get a MBBS seat in AIIMS. Now let us focus on AIIMS Bhubaneswar. Since you have not specified your category so we will consider about all categories.Let us have a view on 2017 cutoff for AIIMS Bhuvneswar. In 2017 to get AIIMS Bhuvneswar last rank for general cat. was 571 with 99.8035 percentile; for OBC it was 1142 rank with 99.60614 percentile; for Sc it was 6573 rank with 97.71731 percentile. for St it was 11833 rank with 95.928722 percentile. overall cut off for aiims this year is 98.1246 percentile for general, 95.2939 for OBC , 90.2036 for Sc and ST. In 2017 it was 99.0014 for general 97.42 for OBC and 94.1220 for SC/ST. So this is clear that this year cuttoff for AIIMS is less than previous years. So on this basis it can be said that your son is most likely to get your desired college.
