Established under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, All India Institute of Medical Sciences Bhubaneswar is an autonomous institute that provides education in the field of medical sciences. The institute was launched on 16 July 2021. Atal Bihari Bajpayee was the man behind launching AIIMS in different cities like Patna, Raipur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jaipur, and Rishikesh.

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences functions with a mission of providing quality medical education, training, health care, and research amalgamated with scientific culture and compassion to serve the underserved classes across the country.

Boys Hostel
The University has a boy’s hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.
Girls Hostel
The University has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.
Library
The college has a vast central library, which was established on 3 October 2012 and has seen huge growth over the course of nine years. The library is situated on the ground floor in the academic block and caters to all students from B.Sc., MBBS, nursing, to staff and research members.
Laboratories
The college departmental labs of anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology, microbiology, pharmacology, forensic medicine, community medicine, and more. The laboratories are well-equipped with medical equipment and necessities for students to gain knowledge through the fundamental aspect of practical application.
Cafeteria
Within the college campus are eateries available for students, which are open throughout the college hours. Students can enjoy meals and snacks as and when required. The food available is good, hygienic, and budget-friendly.
Medical/Hospital
The campus has a dedicated hospital area that has 43 departments, including pre-clinical, para-clinical, specialty, and super-specialty departments. Students can also seek medical help from the hospital in case of an emergency. The hospital houses 920 beds along with private beds and 40 disaster beds.
Auditorium
The academic block is equipped with conference halls and auditoriums where medical discussions, talks, cultural activities, and professional events take place. Conference halls and auditoriums have sufficient seating capacity with required apparatus such as projectors, lights, and curtains when required.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is well build and maintained, Library and classrooms are fully Air conditioned. Liberary equipped with almost all books from all medical arena. Apart from this college has ground, hygenic mess and etc.

Can I get to be admitted at Bsc nursing at AIIMS Bhubaneswar

Hello aspirant

For getting admission to bsc nursing in aiims bhubaneswar you must have completed class xii with minimum 50% marks in physics, chemistry and biology or you must have completed diploma in general nursing and midwifery.

You will have to appear for AIIMS bhubaneswar bsc nursing entrance exam followed by personal interview.

Entrance exam marks and interview marks are added and then a merit list is prepared, on the basis of this list candidates are admitted to the college.

Duration of the course - 4 years

Fees - 3,165

is there internal quota for PG courses??

Hey

There are a few colleges in India that are offering internal pg qouta to ug candidates. The ones that I know are

BHU Varanasi - probably the first name that comes into mind after hearing internal pg. BHU is the best option for people not belonging to Delhi as the quality of education is great and the ratio of ug pg is also good.
VMMC Delhi - for all India seat you need to get an all India rank under 100 and you can also apply for Indraprastha University form which also has some all India seats this year last seat was given around AIR 400.
AFMC Pune - this year when I went to AFMC for medical there was an interaction between the faculty and the candidates and during that one of the professors said that there is 100% guarantee of pg for AFMC cadets and it is absolutely true. But certainly there are service bonds after that. It is also the best college for UG in this list.
AMU Aligarh - similar to BHU but closer to Delhi.
CMC Vellore - I am not absolutely sure about this but contacting my seniors and some people on qoura last year during my counseling I came to know that during admission procedure of pg in CMC Vellore an interview is taken in which internal candidates are more favoured good luck
