According to aiims you need to score at least 50% if you are general category and 40% if you belong to any other category to be short listed.

You get admissions based on your percentile and rank , hence it is difficult to predict how many marks you require

• Since official authorities don't release results as per marks but it doest it as percentile scores and for AIIMS closing ranks are as follows
• General     1099
• SC     16297
• OBC   1991
•   What I can suggest best is to try to get a score above 135 or so and you
