72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics is a full-time Research course offered by the Berhampur University, Berhampur. PhD program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate should have passed in Post-graduate degree of any other recognized university with the concerned subject or in an allied subject.
Admission Details
As per the prevailing regulation of the University, a candidate in order to enroll for Ph. D. has to qualify in the University Research Entrance Test (URET) or National Entrance Test (NET) conducted by CSIR-UGC or Through the award of DST- INSPIRE or Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship and MANF by the UGC.
