Tuition Fees per semester:
(a) Self Finance/Non-NET/Research Fellow sponsored by the corporate companies = 4,000/-
(b) ICAR-SRF/URS = 5,000/-
(c) Research Fellow/Associate/Others (Govt. Project) = 8,000/-
(d) In-service candidates = 10,000/-
This course duration varies from 2 to 10 years, the student has to finish between this timeline to obtain the Ph. D degree.
Candidates must have passed 2-year Master degree examination in Agriculture/
Horticulture /Agril. Engineering from a duly recognized University, following 4-year Bachelor
Degree programme with relevant subjects, securing an Overall Grade Point Average (OGPA) of at
least 6.50/10.00 in ten-point scale, 3.25/5.00 in five-point scale, 2.60/4.00 in four-point scale for
General / OBC/PH Category, whereas for SC/ST categories, the said requirement is an OGPA of at
least 5.50/10.00, 2.75/5.00, or 2.20/4.00. In other cases, where grade-points are not awarded and
only marks are awarded, the candidate must have secured at least 60% marks for General/OBC/PH
Category, whereas for SC/ST candidates, the minimum percentage of marks is 50%.
