BCKV Nadia Facilities
Bidhan Chandra Krishi Vishwavidyalaya Nadia offers many facilities to the students, faculty and staff. BCKV Nadia facilities include accommodation facilities, sports facilities, cafeteria, auditorium, and many other facilities. BCKV Nadia provides separate hostels for boys and girls. The library of the university provides students with various academic resources.
Bidhan Chandra Krishi Vishwavidyalaya Nadia facilities also include many sports infrastructure and a gymnasium. The auditorium is used for organising events and functions. The latest audio-visual equipment is installed in the auditorium. A modern IT infrastructure and a computer centre are also part of BCKV Nadia campus facilities. BCKV facilities include a guest house, a bookshop and others. Details of BCKV Nadia facilities are given below.

- Boys Hostel
The university provides hostels for boys. All basic facilities are provided to the students. The hostels have furnished and spacious rooms. Private canteen in boys, girls, and international hostel is under supervision of the student’s committee.
- Girls Hostel
The university provides hostels for girls. Basic facilities like security, electricity, water supply are provided in the hostels. Room cleaning facilities are also provided by the university.
- Medical/Hospital
The health centre in the university caters to all the medical needs of the students and staff. It provides free medical advice, free checkups, investigations, physiotherapies and medicines. Round-the-clock ambulance service is provided by the university.
- Library
BCKV Nadia facilities include a library. The central library is a four-storied building. The library has many books, journals, magazines, e-books, CDs, DVDs, national and international periodicals. The university library is spacious and provides sitting arrangements for the students. The university has subscribed to online databases like ICAR-eCourse-ware, e-Agriculture, etc. Photocopying facility, computer lab, meeting room are also present.
- Sports
Bidhan Chandra Krishi Vishwavidyalaya Nadia provides a large number of sports facilities to the students. This includes fields and grounds for various indoor and outdoor games like volleyball, badminton, football, cricket, table tennis and athletics. Many sports competitions are also conducted by the university.
- I.T Infrastructure
The university has the latest and modern IT infrastructure facilities. Internet Access Zone (ARIS cell) consists of a network of terminals connected through LAN and WiMax technology. The facility can be accessed free of cost by the students.
- Cafeteria
The university has a cafeteria that provides tasty and nutritious meals to the students, faculty and staff. Four shops make the ‘Campus Food Courts’. It serves from Monday to Friday.
- Auditorium
The university’s auditorium is regularly used by the students and faculty to conduct various activities and functions. They are equipped with the latest audio-visual facilities like cue light system, fixed talk back and additional talkback facilities, etc. The auditorium is non-air-conditioned and can accommodate 425 people.
- Transport Facility
The university provides transport service to the students, faculty and staff. It provides no fare transportation across the two university campuses.
- Gym
The gym is equipped with modern and latest machines. Apart from this, yoga facilities are also provided by the university.
- Laboratories
Departmental laboratories are provided by the university to students.
- Banks/ATMs
A branch of PNB is present on campus and two ATMs of SBI.

College Infrastructure
Large campus with a great library. But all the faculty buildings are not too good, having many problems regarding infrastructure. ACs, fans, smart boards, projectors never work properly. It's too much painful too study during summer season.

College Infrastructure
Friendly Atmosphere which is good for Students...this University best & no 1 in north east region for agricultural studies. All professor and Non Teaching Staff are very helpful and they also guide for any reason.
Will recoomend not to join.

College Infrastructure
The college infrastructure is quite old and renovation is required.The hostels are almost 40 years old.No wifi facility is avilable.You have to manage wifi by yourself.Only good facility is big Library.The gym is also very old with less equipments.
