Birsa Munda Tribal University, situated in Narmada, Gujarat, is a state university and its endeavors are primarily directed towards quality education for tribal students. The admission procedure being initiated by the university aims at facilitating admission for tribal communities in a wider access and inclusive manner. Birsa Munda Tribal University offers 5 full-time undergraduate courses as a whole under the 3 major streams: Arts, Commerce, and Science. Slight changes are there in the procedure of admission for each degree program. This is a brief degree-wise admission process:

• B.A. Programs:
  The university has two B.A. programs—B.A. English and B.A. Economics. Admission into these two programs will most likely be on the basis of marks acquired in the subject-related sections of the 10+2 exam. Students keen on these programs should therefore have a good foundation in language and social sciences.

• B.Com Program Admission:
  In the B.Com admission program, the university considers candidates' overall scores from 10+2 examination performance, especially for subjects related to commerce and mathematics (more closely related subjects). This program is best suitable for those wanting to pursue their career in business and finance.

• B.Sc Programs:
  The other two B.Sc programs offered by Birsa Munda Tribal University are B.Sc Zoology and B.Sc Chemistry. Admission to this type of program usually depends entirely on the 10+2 qualification acquired by them, mostly considering science subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, and Physics as paramount. Strong foundations in these subjects would therefore be paramount in understanding the basic concepts at B.Sc level.
