24 MonthsBachelor of Education (BEd) is a programme which extends over a period of two academic year consisting of 4 semesters. The duration of the first semester is of 16 weeks and second semester of 18 weeks (Minimum duration for practice teaching in the second semester shall be 4 weeks which excludes micro teaching.) (200 working days). Third semester internship is of 16 weeks and the Fourth semester is of 18 weeks (200 working days).
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have passed Graduate degree in any discipline from any recognized University in India or abroad recognized by AIU, with an aggregate of 50% marks or equivalent grade in all the subjects including languages (Except Bachelors in Engineering or Technology). The Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics should have an aggregate 55% of marks or equivalent grade in all the subjects.
- Applicants who are in the final year of their studies should have secured 50% marks or equivalent grade in all the subjects including languages (Except Bachelors in Engineering or Technology). Students appearing for their final degree examinations in March-May are also eligible to apply.
