My college with the natural beauty of the Dehradun makes it a heaven. Sparkling of lights at night, it looks like stars are fallen down and shine on the ground. College infrastructure and faculties are excellent. The library, labs, and placement cells are very good due which the reputation of the college is increasing day by day. The only disadvantage about the college is the management because we have to present in the class to cover 75% attendance, which is very hard for the naive engineers. The discipline of the college is very good and we have to be well groomed and properly dressed. Faculties are highly experienced and help in making projects. Lots of clubs are organizing events in the college fest i.e Yothopia where several nearby colleges also participate. My college also participated in the moto racing and stands 4 in India which an honor to be part it. The reputation of our college is also increasing and become Uttarakhand best private engineering college.

I can say this not very good nor bad but simply above the average college.having good laboratories, library with average amount of books and also having very good study environment with available.library have also apple computers for student use.students are free use those computer for the purpose of study. College having also canteen, cafeteria, ccd, infirmary, stationary shop.there are so many events that organized regularly I.e yuthopiya, farewell, fresher party ,post placement party, gust lecture, seminar, club base event, and so many quiz and competition based program. One of the best part of this college is the campus is disciplined very much and classes and so many examination, viva, assignment, practical held regularly on basis of time table and academic calendar. You will not get so many free time to have fun and enjoy until and unless you bunk the classes. Like every college this have also having the debar system and college administration is very strict about this. If we talk about the faculty then I say there is mixture of good and bad both but most of them are well qualified.finally talk about the placement then like other colleges this college have also a very good placement record for CS and IT students and very few core companies are visiting for core branches like mechanical engineering and electrical engineering but except CS,IT branches other branches students like students from ECE and EE are also allowed to take part in software companies.

Faculty - When I got enrolled at DIT in 2013, there were quite a few experienced professors in my department(ee), but later only some were left in the college to teach us. Loosely speaking, a major chunk of lecturers were fresh graduates from tier 3 colleges, but some of them were very hardworking and did put an effort in teaching. Administration - This was the most difficult entity to deal with. It was difficult to get work done from registrar! From getting a new identity card to getting a bonafide certificate made, all followed very tedious approach. I am not sure about the current administration, though. Placements - Companies which visit campus are IT MNCs like Infosys, Wipro, and Cognizant which recruit in bulk. Hike also visited in dream category. No major core companies for core branches came except for two or three. Extracurricular - While there are very limited opportunities and a very strict environment there, but still it is up to you on how to utilize whatever chances you get for your entire stay at DIT. One has to manage attendance, studies, and sessionals while getting involved in this kind of activities and at times the faculty and administration may or may not be supportive. Even though the college does not provide dream jobs and world-class professors to its students, it is up to a student on how to make the best out of it. If one is willing to put effort, he can definitely achieve anything by being there. As it is rightly said, there is two kinds of people, one who are proud of their college and the other who make their college proud. And this college has got the second kind from time to time!

Infrastructure is good. The campus is spread over 25 to 30 acres. It lacks sports ground. Only some faculties are good whom I have encountered in my first two semesters. In the year 2015, only 57 students took admission in electrical branch b/c no sufficient job offers in the core branch in previous years.
