      College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is very old school heritage. It has a very scenic view With lots of trees and plants and even a nursery. Construction is not allowed due to govt. restriction as it is built like an heritage building. It also has gender neutral washrooms.

      Academics

My BBA program has a very well established curriculum and with great teachers with practical applications. Although the college hours are a bit long and hectic and a period is of 2 hours each which is also challenging.

      Placements

No promises made as of now. Undergrad placement are not good But post graduation are good Although no much information is there regarding placements to me. If there would be any in the future will update

      College Infrastructure

      1. In karampura campus of Dr. BR. Ambedkar University there were all necessary infrastructure available like student service, it division, AES division and library. Facilities like: sports rooms and sports equipment were there, Canteen was there. 2. Yes wifi was there and being used by the students, computer labs were there. Hostel was not there because it is a small campus as per the area of the campus I have not such expectations for having hostels as well. Smart boards were installed and used in the sessions. All things which are mentioned by me were used and well maintained. 3. The food was ok not very hygienic but it was good. Yes the living spaces were Clean and ok.

      Academics

      1. I was studying B.Voc Retail Management during my graduation because I had a dream of moving forward in retail and marketing sector. The reason for choosing this course in this specific college is because the structure of the curriculum this college provides to the students I don't think the other college were providing at that time when I was searching for college for my admission during 2020. The curriculum structure was made very well. And after each and every semester there was a internships which each B.Voc students need have to do in order to get promoted in the next semester. So it was very practice as well as theoretical curriculum. Yes the quality of teaching was good. 2. The curriculum was updated and includes all the recent developments in the field. It helps me in making job ready.

      Placements

      1. Quality of placements was average. 2. I am not sure about the percentage of students who were placed but the college tries there best to atleast placed as much as students at their end this was the best part of the college they were supportive and give every students equal chance for the placements but as per students calibre they got selected for the posts. 3. Average salary offered during my time was 20k monthly. Placements process was fine there was a separate placement cell also for the college which helps those students who were not selected during the placements interviews at the college. So by the help of AUD placements cell the students can get many opportunities even after gets not selected during college placements student have the option to apply for the post with the help of the jobs which was posted by the AUD placements cell.

      Value for Money

      1. Course fee per year was 50-60K but this is an state gov university so we get benefits of fee waiver if students having less income certificate issues by the SDM office they get fee relaxation the get fee reimbursement. I was paying 3k per semester and yearly 6k. 2. Yes it's the amount of fee which I was paying to the college for my program was very much value for money.

      Campus Life

      1. College campus beat feature was societies and worst features was there was no fest happen in this particular campus of AUD but in the main campus of AUD that is Kashmere Gate the fest happens and there are more features and engaging activities available for the students to get enroll and participate. 2. I don't know much about like and dislikes of students and teachers and support staff. The location where the campus was is safe and can handle emergencies situations because there was a police stations closely to the campus and also the roads are good enough to reach college on time.

      Others

My experiences was very good with this campus of AUD. I make freinds. Participate in sports football society of my college and also played football league in the college. So it was a very good and memorable experience for me. Although the campus size was not big it was small yet it was memorable. Every one make experiences as per their own interests so I found this campus overall good for studying and for some engaging activities.

      Average Experience with this College.

      College Infrastructure

Based on my own experience, I don't have any issues with this college's infrastructure. Although the infrastructure is quite outdated and not developed enough for students in 2024, I wouldn't say that it affects my academic performance.

      Academics

Based on my observations, I would conclude that this college's academic performance is below average. I honestly did not appreciate anything about my time as a student at this college, and I would not suggest it to others.

      Placements

This college does not offer good placements, and there is no guarantee that a student enrolled here will be placed. I currently work as a part-time accountant, a career I obtained outside of this college, hence I would rate the placements at one star out of five.

      Value for Money

No, this college does not offer value for money, and if it continues in this manner, it never will. inadequate facilities, subpar instruction, and subpar placements I wouldn't say that this college is worth the money, nor would I suggest it to others.

      Campus Life

According to my observations, the campus life is not good, and I would never, ever recommend this college to anyone else because of how awful it is. I would say it could have been much better for this college.

      College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of Karampura campus is disabled friendly along with fulfilling all the other necessities. The classrooms are air conditioned to deal with the scorching summers and well ventilated. There is a library, a reading room, IT labs, cafeteria, football and volleyball ground, sports room etc.

      Academics

I completed my graduation in BA Social Sciences and Humanities. It is an interdisciplinary course which links different disciplines required to get a holistic understanding of a particular subject. The faculty of AUD is the USB of its academics and is the reason why I joined this particular university. The course is creatively designed by the faculties and it comprises all the updated readings and researchers.

      Placements

Though there was a placement cell in the university but it needs to improve so to provide better opportunities to the students. Most of the humanities students go for higher studies and that is also why the placement cell is not as active as other technical courses.

      Value for Money

The cost of the courses are a little expensive as compared to central government colleges and universities but the academics and experience are worth the price.

      Campus Life

The campus life in AUD is pretty lively with liberal teacher-student interactions. The location is at a walking distance from the nearest metro station and bus stands. Located in a residential area, the campus is quiet and peaceful.

      Best place for Gender Studies

      College Infrastructure

As it's an old building the layout is like a maze. Definitely not fancy but functional. Some classrooms have really poor ventilation. Depends on where your department conducts their classes. Labs are nice with good working tech equipment. Lots of computers, free wifi etc.

      Academics

One of the best places in India and abroad if you want to study Gender Studies ( no exaggeration). All the celebrity professors, who are big names in their respective fields will take in depth classes. My dept profs are really caring, will handhold and guide you really well.

      Placements

Very very helpful in teaching the right skills, very extensive alumni network. Profs also keep sharing job ops, research ops etc. Everyone is super helpful and really want the best for their students in the future

      Value for Money

Totally worth it. The professors, the curriculum can easily beat any Ivy League uni when it comes to gender studies. They teach you really good research methodology also. For GS atleast, I think this is the best place to be because of the faculty. Plus, we don't have semester wise exams only assignments which are basically short papers we have to submit. Plus you get to write a 20,000 word dissertation. So PhD research is not a shock. You learn a lot.

      Campus Life

Very good crowd of intellectuals, be it students and teachers. Which is what makes it really nice for interacting, brainstorming and meeting people from diverse backgrounds. Everyone is helpful in general.

      Placements

The placements at the university was ok too Almost forty percent of my batch was placed The main dominating batch placed from my university was of masters Well the off campus placements option was there too

      Value for Money

      Academics

I used to study tourism and hotel management both mixed because its a mixture of two courses at once which gives a bettter understanding of new courses and you can decide what to do in future. Hotel management is a good course.

      Placements

It depends upon the college if they give the placements or not. To be honest our college gives placements but to less amount of students. But they do give out good placements to the ones who work hard and give all their best.

      Value for Money

Course costed per year - 15000 and yes i feel getting my money's worth absolutely because the place is nice and faculty too.

      Campus Life
