The infrastructure of Karampura campus is disabled friendly along with fulfilling all the other necessities. The classrooms are air conditioned to deal with the scorching summers and well ventilated. There is a library, a reading room, IT labs, cafeteria, football and volleyball ground, sports room etc.
I completed my graduation in BA Social Sciences and Humanities. It is an interdisciplinary course which links different disciplines required to get a holistic understanding of a particular subject. The faculty of AUD is the USB of its academics and is the reason why I joined this particular university. The course is creatively designed by the faculties and it comprises all the updated readings and researchers.
Though there was a placement cell in the university but it needs to improve so to provide better opportunities to the students. Most of the humanities students go for higher studies and that is also why the placement cell is not as active as other technical courses.
The cost of the courses are a little expensive as compared to central government colleges and universities but the academics and experience are worth the price.
The campus life in AUD is pretty lively with liberal teacher-student interactions. The location is at a walking distance from the nearest metro station and bus stands. Located in a residential area, the campus is quiet and peaceful.
As it's an old building the layout is like a maze. Definitely not fancy but functional. Some classrooms have really poor ventilation. Depends on where your department conducts their classes. Labs are nice with good working tech equipment. Lots of computers, free wifi etc.
One of the best places in India and abroad if you want to study Gender Studies ( no exaggeration). All the celebrity professors, who are big names in their respective fields will take in depth classes. My dept profs are really caring, will handhold and guide you really well.
Very very helpful in teaching the right skills, very extensive alumni network. Profs also keep sharing job ops, research ops etc. Everyone is super helpful and really want the best for their students in the future
Totally worth it. The professors, the curriculum can easily beat any Ivy League uni when it comes to gender studies. They teach you really good research methodology also. For GS atleast, I think this is the best place to be because of the faculty. Plus, we don't have semester wise exams only assignments which are basically short papers we have to submit. Plus you get to write a 20,000 word dissertation. So PhD research is not a shock. You learn a lot.
Very good crowd of intellectuals, be it students and teachers. Which is what makes it really nice for interacting, brainstorming and meeting people from diverse backgrounds. Everyone is helpful in general.
The infrastructure is great with huge beautiful design buildings the classrooms are spacious with air conditioned classrooms and halls The teaching staff had separate rooms and the library was huge too.
The education level was ok the teachers were determined and focused to students , the quality of education was at peak Teachers focused on practical aspects rather on theoretical aspects Books availability was there
The placements at the university was ok too Almost forty percent of my batch was placed The main dominating batch placed from my university was of masters Well the off campus placements option was there too
The value for money was there as the level of education was provided to me with only in twenty thousand rupees per semester Where as in other universities it cost at least 50 thousand rupees So it was a money saver
The campus life was great with high standards of canteen availability with various inbuilt college societies I was in cultural counsel society where we were responsible for managing events and other activities happening
The experience was good and it was nice to be a part of it
Aur University infrastructure provided good facility . The facility which includes like a canteen , sports centre , computer lab and big library . The food provided in our serve good . Dhol campus is neat and clean .
Teacher are very good in our college . Whenever any student have a any kind of doubt or any other , directly contact with the teacher and their always available to help us . Didn't hesitate to ask any doubt from our teacher .
Aur college 85% of student good placed . The average alary package offer in our college was 4 to 6 lpa and the lowest salary package offer this time was 3 LPA . The top recruiter companies are Infosys , Wipro, TCS, tech Mahindra and Zomato.
Ambedkar University is good and it is quite spacious and amazing as well. The classrooms and infrastructures are good as well and the place is good to enjoy and food is amazing as well. The view and scenary is also amazing.
I used to study tourism and hotel management both mixed because its a mixture of two courses at once which gives a bettter understanding of new courses and you can decide what to do in future. Hotel management is a good course.
It depends upon the college if they give the placements or not. To be honest our college gives placements but to less amount of students. But they do give out good placements to the ones who work hard and give all their best.
Course costed per year - 15000 and yes i feel getting my money's worth absolutely because the place is nice and faculty too.
Students indulge in various activities like football, badminton and cricket etc. There are many activities to do as well. The staff and students are good and friendly in terms of safety and friendliness.
Nope
Ambedkar college is average rated college they have all necessary facilities like good classroom, Toilet, libraries, sports clubs, etc. Food and Hygiene facilities are good in this college. Overall infra are good.
I studying in this college because it provides good education and good quality of teaching in every course. And for BBA really its a good college and always updated curriculum with recent developments in the system.
No, doubt placements are well good in this college and quality is the priority. Currently many students are placed by studying in the college and provide good salary package for BBA students in their college.
There are all facilities and equipment and infrastructure Available there is no more required so that is good university in the delhi, if I will talk about classrooms, laboratories and libraries then all is better than other university
I'm pursing master of art because I want some knowledge and I want post graduate degree because I want to become I ips so I want deeply knowledge about it that's why I'm pursuing master of art by Dr BR ambedkar university.
If I will talk about placements then there is average placements and average package placements, there are some more opportunities but I don't want to talk placements, I want to become ips officer, where my family can proud.
This university is average, not too much costly but there are all facilities are available so it's bit costly
One of the best college life in BR ambedkar university, I really enjoying in the university so I can say college life also best
The college infrastructure was impeccable with all the necessary facilities provided to us, be it library, sports field, gym and study rooms. The infrastructure was very supportive for any student, and the liberal environment would only make one a better and more responsible citizen.
I studied Sociology during my bachelor's, but the college also gives you opportunities to take electives from other courses. The lecturers were impeccable, each being better than the other. However, since it was mostly a Humanities college, there were lesser scope of placement just after your graduation.
The least you would want to pursue is a post-graduation degree in your subject. Placements were good during my time, but I have heard that it has become better and more far-reaching for all the students.
Since it comes under the ambit of the Delhi State Government, hence the education was subsidised there. However, the infrastructure was much better than what most of the DU colleges have. The worth was very well justified by the quality of the course.
College life was extremely interesting with events, sports, theatre and much more. The cultural fest was one of the key highlights of my tenure there, since the fest not only encouraged the ordinary but went beyond its way to capture the essence of India by inviting different regional participants.
The college has heritage building outlook. The library is very large like a museum. This college has proper hygiene maintenance. The classrooms are neat, canteen has average food. Washrooms are required to be more clean. There is wifi facilities also.
Professors of this college are very professional and are good in providing feedback for our assignments and tests. They have a positive outlook. Teaching and learning are excellent in this university. This will definitely make you job ready.
This university has special committee for students welfare and placement. The packages offered here are around 10LPA to 20LPA. There should be improvements made in placement cell. The college is supportive in providing internships and job offers.
You will get the value for your money from this university. Top faculty will teach you and you can learn many things. If you are a good learner you can surely take admission to this college. You will gain lot of knowledge and experience.
There is a good social environment in this college. The campus is green and nature friendly. The crowd of students is good. All students are willing to participate in activities and programs. New opportunities should be provided to students as per me.
The infrastructure is not up to the mark all though there have been improvements. With the new block coming up, there is hope that the infrastructure will only get better. There are projectors and air conditioners in every class.
The professors are learned and scholars in their respective fields. They have only facilitated the journey of Growth for every individual enrolled in the university. The approach is more reflective which really helps sensitising people about the realities of life.
The placements for Social Science is poor. There are not much opportunities. Not a lot of organisations/corporations recognise the value of AUD yet, but once they do, the placement opportunities can improve for people.
Definitely! The fees might seem to be a lot, AUD being a state-run university, but the experience it offers cannot be witnessed elsewhere. There are various facilities for students and professors. The food is cheaper here than in any other college.
The best you can expect. The very essence of AUD is political, which is not at all a bad thing. It brings a lot of things into perspective, rather. It's an experience everyone should witness for themselves.
