As per reports GITAM university doesn't offer free seats .You will get an admission in GITAM university only depending on your GAT rank.If your GAT rank is good enough for you to secure a seat then you will be called for the counselling process.Thus the fate of your admission depends on your GAT score and competition.All the best.

Well,first of all i wanted to say that GITAM university gives admission to their students based on the exam they conduct.They also conduct counselling sessions for students who pass the test.

GITAM University, Vishakhapatnam closes around 56,000 rank (Mechanical Engineering) (to be on a safer side) in the last round of ComedK counselling. The cut-off for different branches of GITAM University has been listed below: (all have been mentioned to be on the safer side of the cut-off for 2019)

CSE - 37,500 rank

Civil Engineering - 56,500 rank

ECE - 44,000 rank

EEE - 55,000 rank

Mechanical Engineering - 56,000 rank

Yes you can definitely get GITAM University as its last year cutoff was around 40000 and according to your score you will comfortably get Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management, commonly known as GITAM, Visakhapatnam is one of the best private engineering University established in 1980. It was previously known as GITAM College, affiliated to Andhra University. GITAM University has been approved by UGC. It has been granted the status of deemed to be university in 2007.

Unfortunately GITAM University doesn't accept AP Eamcet rank for its admissions. Gitam university accepts GAT (It's very own entrance test)'s rank for admissions. And the counselling must be in final stages already. If you haven't attempted GAT, try contacting the Admissions Committee as they might offer you a seat if they have vacancies. 

There is a medium chance for you to get CSE in GITAM, Bhubaneshwar.

According to previous years cutoff, the rank would lie between 75k to 1.2lac.

However, you should not lose hope as anything could happen due to the uncertainty in the number of students who are applying for the GITAM.

So go for it.

Let me tell you that by this percentile you shouldn't expect any government college.

Neither you will get any semi government college. By this much you could get admission in private colleges only where you have to pay fees around 1-1.75 lakh per year . It varies college vise . If you specify any college I will tell you .

You can easily get CSE at Vizag or Hyderabad or Bengaluru campus

Since closing rank is around than 20k.

Since you are getting CSE you choose any other branch also as per your preference.
