The infrastructure is good, with amenities like advanced labs and decent classrooms with good parks and resting areas. Have a question related to GITAM University ?

I got 450 in neet 2025 can I get gitam medical clg

Hello,

Depending on the cut of this year, you have a moderate to strong chance of being admitted to GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences and research, Visakhapatnam, especially under the management quota or GITAM merit quota, depending on the cut off this year.

What You should do?

  • Sign up for counselling at deemed University on The MCC website.
  • GITAM should be one of your top choices.
  • Keep an eye out for stray vacancy rounds and mop ups.

So I secured 306 marks in neet2025 with 427000 air rank and 227000 category rank likewise 16891 rank in state provisional merit list AP.. will I get category A seat in private dental college in AU region in Andhra like trying for gsl gitam like colleges will I my chances if I go through all counselling process and mop-up round as well.. do I likely have chances of securing a govt seat if yess pls say at which rounds possibly asap. Nd thanks for whoever guiding me further..!!

Hello,

With a NEET 2025 score of 306 marks, an AIR of 4,27,000, a category rank of 2,27,000, and a state merit rank of 16,891 in Andhra Pradesh, your prospects of obtaining a Category A (government quota) seat in private dental colleges within the AU area are moderate to possible, particularly if you remain engaged throughout all counselling rounds, including mop-up.

Institutions such as GSL Dental College and GITAM Dental College are somewhat competitive, yet still attainable with this score, particularly for SC/ST/BC categories or in circumstances involving vacant seats during mop-up.

Securing a government MBBS seat with this score is likely to be quite challenging due to intense competition; however, obtaining a Category A BDS seat at a private college under the state quota is considerably more feasible, especially if you remain flexible and approach each round with patience.

It is wise to secure your choices intelligently, keep informed about Andhra Pradesh Dr. NTRUHS counselling, and participate in document verification and mop-up rounds, since seats may become available from withdrawals. Indeed, there’s a good possibility that you could obtain a BDS seat in a private college under Category A if you remain committed throughout the counselling process.

Hope this helps. All the best!

So I secured 316 marks in neet2025 with air 427000 and category rank 227000 or so.. will I get category A in private dental college in AU region in Andhra like trying for gsl gitam like colleges will I have my chances if I go through all counselling process nd mop-up round as well.. do I have chance if yes possibly at what round pls ans asap

With 316 marks in NEET 2025 , your chances of getting a Category A seat in private BDS colleges in Andhra Pradesh under the AU region are fair , especially if you belong to a reserved category such as BC, SC, or ST.

In previous years, Category A BDS seats in private dental colleges like GSL Dental College, GITAM Dental College, and Sibar Dental College were allotted to candidates with NEET scores between 300 and 350 , particularly in later counselling rounds.

If you are from a BC or SC category , your chances improve further because Category A seats in private colleges are government quota seats , and the cutoff is lower for reserved candidates .
