Infrastructure is good but the faculty is below average. The college has a good reputation because of its students and alumni. Director of our college assigns subject to teachers which they don't know. Library is excellent. University has collaboration with many foreign universities in which students go in the foreign exchange program.

Brilliant Infrastructure with Variety in Education

The college's infrastructure is brilliant for a law university. Recently, the college has also introduced MBA and LLM courses as well. It has a common mess for boys and girls and huge ground in the middle. Mess food is usually good, but non-vegetarians would face problems as non-veg food is provided only twice a week for dinner. However, there are food joints nearby from where you can order delicious food - veg or non-veg. A lot of exposure is provided in terms of fest, certificate courses, moot court competition etc. Students have the freedom to participate in any or all of them and are given various opportunities to represent the college and hone their skills. Opportunities are given on merit basis and potential of the student. Reimbursements for debates, moots etc is also provided so that financial affordability does not hold the student back. Placements have seen a rise in the past and so has the mooting culture. The college recently won the National Rounds of Jessup to qualify to the World Rounds and won the 5th Best Speaker at the world rounds as well. The faculty is decent. For a National Law University, the standard of professors should be improved. The administration takes adequate measures to make life comfortable for students and provides various facilities and prompt repair work at the hostel. The college is affordable for the kind of facilities it provides; among all the NLUs, this is one of the least expensive.

My University has one of the best campuses in India. They believe in the quote “Aano bhadra krtavo yantu vishwatah” which means that "Let noble thoughts come to me from all directions.” It is a student-friendly campus where you will find professors playing sports with you. They conduct seminar and conferences on the regular basis. I did not sit for the placement but my University tried their best to get a maximum of firms to the campus.

Infrastructure wise, GNLU is spread over 50 acres of land and is quite good. We have an amazing newly built auditorium. The classrooms, library, and the administrative block are air conditioned. Single occupancy is given only to girl students along with an attached washroom, a rarity. GNLU boasts of a well-equipped gym with the latest equipment. The gym is separate for Boys and Girls. Also, we have a Tennis Court, a basketball court, a cricket ground, a football ground and a badminton court (badminton court is within the hostel premises). The food here is quite good going by the preconceived notion of mess food. They serve meals four times a day and they serve a lot of varieties throughout the week. Also, we have an on-campus food stall, Hoggers Den, which serves delicious wraps and pasta at a reasonable price. Apart from that, we have a night mess which functions till 1 am in the night. Their cheese onion parathas are quite a hit amongst the students. GNLU unlimited access to free wifi throughout the entire campus. The class timings are 9 AM to 2 PM. Most of the faculty at GNLU is decent if not too great. They are easily approachable and student friendly. GNLU has a lot of committees and clubs for students, each carrying out their events throughout the year and hence the campus is perennially buzzing. Transportation sticks out like a sore thumb though as it is expensive. The placements scene has been seeing an upward thrust over the past few years. A dedicated placements and internship cell helps the students to secure internships and placements. The college also provides a guidance in the forms of special lectures to the civil services aspirants. The curfew timings for both, boys and girls, is 10 PM. However, students are free to walk around the campus till 1 in the night.
