in guru kashi the placement is average, and eligible students will be placed. There are 60% of the placements. Many of the students get jobs in different companies. Job fair by the government is also recognised at university time to time. The highest salary offered was 5 lakhs per annum, and the minimum was 1.5 lac per annum for graduates.Very few placements are offered with a salary of Rs. 10,000 per month.Overall its a decent university. But it isn't recognised by ICAR. The university provides internships in very different companies. There are some government sector tie-ups this is best for a student. Some time many government projects handle by this university at that time student spend their Time as an intern and get the stipend. Placement of this university are done in big companies Like wipro, hp, mahindra finance etc. which are the partners of the college.

Guru nanak dev university gives 3years of bsc hons in agriculture, and is not recognised by ICAR and also doesnt holds very good placement records. You can get admisssion in this university by clearing an entrance exam which is conducted by the university only and it posses negative marking too. the exam pattern is as followed:

  • • Campus Placements by big brands and multinationals
  • • Highest Salary Package – 21 Lakh
  • • Regular Internships & Industrial Training

summarising i think guru nank dev college is better for BSc agriculture hons.

I say you should opt for a B.A. L.L.B. in Chandigarh University as it has an industry based curriculum for the field along with a flexible choice based credit system. It offers you project based and experiential learning and you get to choose from more than 70 elective subjects. Apart from this, the University also offers scholarships based on academics, sports,Scholarship Scheme For Wards Of Defence Personnel Armed Forces Educational Welfare, etc. The eligibility criteria for the same is 10+2 with atleast 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) or its equivalent examination in any stream conducted by a recognized Board / University / Council in the aggregate. The semester fee is 45,000/-INR.

Many companies come here for recruiting students, especially for Corporate Law. Moreover, the Department of Career Planning and Development also provides on campus training for the Judicial Services Exam.

Hello Brar,

If you are trying to decide a better university to pursue BA LLB, I would suggest you to please go ahead with GNDU.

As GNDU is a Governemnt University and offers a better faculty with more experiences. It is also an old and renowed university selects student on the basis of an entrance exam.

Whereas, Chandigarh University, being a Private University is till a growing university and accepts student without any such entrance test, thus selection procedure is not as rigorous like any other law colleges.

I hope this was helpful!
