36 MonthsThe Department of Chemistry, right from its inception, extends its services to the engineering students, providing a strong foundation and practical exposure on Chemical Sciences related to their field. Well qualified faculty with strong research exposure provide guidance to students and research scholars. Besides offering B.Sc. and M.Sc. Programmes in Chemistry, the department is involved in research in the following areas:
- Bioorganic chemistry
- Photocatalysis
- Biofuels
- Polymeric supercapacitors
- Synthesis of organic materials
- Biopolymers
- Nanomaterials for biomedical and environmental remediation
Eligibility Criteria
A pass with minimum 50% of marks in any recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Science of minimum 3 years duration with 10+2+3 years pattern and studied Mathematics at +2 level or studied Mathematics as core or ancillary subjects at B.Sc. level alone are eligible for admission to B.Tech. Degree Course.
